The basis for this research is the project Model for the Construction Process (MoPo). The objectives set by this research project is to explain principles of semantics by the use of linguistic theory and provide a generic process model for the facility management area using the modelling method IDEF0. The case study done at Vattenfall AB confirms the proposition set up for this research. Vattenfall AB is the largest electricity company in Sweden and an employee of nearly 24 000 persons within 60 companies in countries as Sweden, Finland, Germany and Poland.
